This video contains two Rainbow episodes and presumably two Rod, Jane and Freddy episodes. Episodes consist of -
Rainbow - The Highway Man
Rod, Jane and Freddy - Nursery Rhymes 1 & 2
Rainbow - Noah's Ark
It has a runtime of 55mins
The case is in an awful condition and is severely cracked, so the case will be replaced with a new one then I plan to upload it. What I will do after that I haven't decided - I will most likely keep it for my collection.
I loved this video, I think it was my little brother's rather than mine, but I can still remember the songs. "He's a highwayman, he rides through the night, while the moon and stars are shining bright, his coat is black, but his horse is white, he's a higgghhhwaaaayyyyman!" Then Rod(?) dressed up as the old lady who lived in a shoe. "I'm an old, old lady, living in a shoe, I've got so many children, I don't know what to do, I wish I could live in a house like you, then I wouldn't have to work so hard, I've got to make the beds, feed the kids, polish the top of the saucepan lids, wash the clothes and clean the kitchen floor - phew, lay the fire, pay the bills, paint the top of the window sills and oil all the hinges on the door!"
ReplyDeleteNow it must be twenty years since I last saw that and I can remember it clear as day - what I had for lunch yesterday though - no idea!
Thanks for jogging my memory. Just as a random question from a technophobe loser - how do you get videos onto DVD/computer? I've got some old camcorder stuff of my family on video that I'd love to have a DVD copy of, as well as videos of Bertha, Gran, Raggy Dolls etc that I'd love to watch again.
Good work on Youtube too, thanks for all the memories - and my daughter asks if you've got a Rosie and Jim episode where they go to a shop with John (Fizgog) and sneak a TOffee Yoghurt into his basket (do you have any idea what I'm rambling on about?!)
Finally, very excited to find T-Bag DVD's on Amazon this week - what a win!
Hi!
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question about transferring videos to DVDs, you need a special DVD recorded (although I think any DVD recorder should be able to do it). All you need to do is connect the DVD recorder the VCR and press record then it will transfer the video to DVD.DVD recorders can be quite expensive (I always get mine second-hand).
Yes, I should have that episode (a lot of people ask for it :P ) I'll have to upload it very very soon (if I can find it). So watch out for that coming soon :)
